    K-1 Fiancée Visa

    This visa is available for an alien who intends to marry a U.S. citizen and comes to live in the U.S. while planning the wedding ceremony.

    K-2 Visa

    This visa is for the children of the alien receiving the K-1 visa (intending stepchildren).

    K-3 Spouse Visa

    This visa is for an alien who is already married to a U.S. citizen and comes to live with their spouse in the U.S.

    K-4 Visa

    This visa is for the children of the alien receiving the K-3 visa (stepchildren).

    Family – Based Green Cards

    An adult U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident may make an I-130 application to the Immigration Service for an immigrant visa for a spouse or other close relatives such as children, mother, father, sister or brother.

    Temporary Protected Status or Deferred Enforced Departure

    The United States Government or the President of the United States from time to time designate certain foreign nationals as “protected” in that they are given the opportunity to remain in the United States, work in the United States, and travel in and out of the United States on a temporary basis. This “protected” status is usually given in cases of ongoing armed conflict, an environmental or other extraordinary circumstances.

    Employment Authorization

    You are required to have employment authorization to work in the United States. If you have been given employment authorization and have not completed your petition, your employment authorization could have expired. Employers are under governmental scrutiny and if your employment status is not current when they check, you may lose your job.
